As u know, The Magic Castle is a private club and official home of The Academy of Magical Arts. Another WONDERGROUND Experience!
April saw me performing at Jeff McBride's WONDERGROUND as we celebrated a star studded WONDERGROUND milestone! On the bill that night, just to mention a few, RJ Cantu, Rudy Coby, as well as the one and only Jeff McBride who presented his World Famous Award Winning Mask Act! Aside from The Magic Castle, WONDERGROUND is one of my favorite venues to perform at. The staff and management there at The Olive Hookah Lounge ALWAYS treat me like a STAR, whether I'm performing or not and that night was no different. Again the audience, who come out every 3rd Thursday of the month to see the best that Magic has to offer, erupted in another STANDING OVATION immediately at the end of my act! U know, it goes without saying that when an audience loves me that much it's a dream come true EVERY TIME! A confirmation that all the hard work that I've put into my act has paid off and is something I never take for granted. Jeff called me back onstage to announce publicly for the very 1st time, my upcoming appearance at The FISM World Championships of Magic, more on that coming soon!
#GOALS
One of the things that I am most proud of was my appearance in Ron Saylor's Celebrities of Magic Series. This is a yearly event and I was finally selected along with my good friend Scott Land, the Uber Marionettist, as the November 2017 featured acts. Our show together was immediately rewarded with a FULL HOUSE STANDING OVATION on Curtain Call, a feat Ron informed us RARELY happens so we were both very proud of that. Special thanks to Ron for having us there!
